Zabina Begum

Zabina Begum has been a dedicated educator for over 20 years. She joined the GEMS family in 2008. During her tenure here, she has held a variety of positions including Excursion Coordinator, House teacher, Head of Student Progress (Science-CAIE). She joined the leadership team in 2023 as Assistant Supervisor-CAIE.

Zabina holds a M. Phil degree in Life Science and Master’s degree in Bio Chemistry from India. She is currently teaching Biology in the senior classes of 10 to 12 (CAIE). Her passion is to embed practices that develop 21st century skills in her students. She has always been involved in introducing innovative teaching and learning methods in classroom for student centric learning. Working with OOL teachers over the years has been extremely rewarding. She is thrilled to be part of a team that has a shared vision and is committed to excellence in learning.

From 20 years of experience she has gained trust among students and have a good rapport with them and help them to study in a peaceful environment. Her ability to connect with Students and tackle them with ease have made them to achieve their expectations.
